Sleigh the Stage: How PT Hawaii, WorkStar & Koa Labs Gave Back This Holiday Season
This holiday season, PT Hawaii, alongside our extended ʻohana at WorkStar and Koa Labs, came together to celebrate more than just the end of the year—we celebrated community, connection, and giving back in Hawaiʻi.
Our recent holiday party brought staff, honored guests, and community partners together for an evening filled with music, laughter, and purpose. While the night was full of festive cheer, the heart of the event centered around a meaningful initiative designed to support organizations making a difference right here in our local community.
Sleigh the Stage: A Disco Lip Sync Battle for Charity
The main event of the evening, Sleigh the Stage: A Disco Lip Sync Battle for Charity, turned friendly competition into a powerful opportunity to give back.
Our entire staff was divided into four teams, each representing a local nonprofit organization. Through high-energy performances, creativity, and plenty of disco spirit, each team competed to raise funds for their chosen charity—knowing that every organization would receive financial support, regardless of final placement.
The participating nonprofit organizations included:
- Aloha United Way
- Hawaii Foodbank (a member of Feeding America)
- Kids’ Chance of Hawaii
- Project Vision
Each organization was highlighted during the event, giving our team and guests the opportunity to learn more about their missions and the meaningful impact they make across Hawaiʻi.
Event Results & Community Impact
After an exciting evening of performances and judging, the final team scores and charitable contributions were announced:
- 1st Place – Blue Team | Hawaii Foodbank
- 2nd Place – Green Team | Aloha United Way
- 3rd Place – Yellow Team | Project Vision
- 4th Place – Red Team | Kids’ Chance of Hawaii
While the Blue Team took home first place, the true win of the night was the collective impact—every nonprofit organization received funding, reinforcing the spirit of generosity that defined the event.
Judged by Community Partners & Supported by Sponsors
Adding even more meaning to the evening, representatives from each nonprofit joined us as guest judges, sharing about their work and helping select the winning performances.
We were also grateful to have ProService Hawaii participate in the celebration. A ProService representative joined us as a judge for the evening, and ProService generously contributed to the winning prize pool, further amplifying the event's impact and reinforcing the importance of community partnership.
More Than a Holiday Party
While the music, performances, and festive atmosphere made for an unforgettable celebration, the true highlight of the night was seeing our team come together around a shared purpose.
At PT Hawaii, WorkStar, and Koa Labs, giving back is not limited to the holiday season—it reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities we serve. Events like Sleigh the Stage remind us that when we come together, we can create impact beyond the clinic walls.
